Lync Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to the use of the Lync service, provided by Billbuk Group ("Lync", "we", "our", "us"), including the mobile app, website, and all related services (collectively referred to as the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to establish guidelines for the use of Lync’s Service to ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the Service, as well as compliance with applicable laws. This Policy is designed to protect the interests of all users, including you, and maintain the quality of the Service.
2. Acceptable Use of the Service
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Policy. The following are examples of acceptable use:
- Creating and sharing shortened links for personal or professional use, provided the content is legal and non-harmful.
- Using the Service for sharing educational, business, or informational content.
- Maintaining a lawful and professional conduct when sharing or interacting with others through the Service.
3. Prohibited Use of the Service
You must not use the Service in any of the following ways:
- Illegal Activities: You may not use the Service to engage in any activity that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law, regulation, or ordinance. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing content related to fraud, theft, illegal drugs, or child exploitation.
- Harmful Content: You may not use the Service to share content that is defamatory, abusive, offensive, harassing, or otherwise harmful to individuals, organizations, or communities.
- Malicious Activities: You must not use the Service to distribute malware, viruses, spyware, or other malicious software that could damage, disable, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service or other systems and devices.
- Impersonation: You may not impersonate any person, company, or entity, including Lync employees, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Spamming and Phishing: You may not use the Service to engage in unsolicited advertising, marketing, or promotional materials (i.e., spam). Additionally, you may not use the Service to conduct phishing attempts or gather personal information under false pretenses.
- Disruption of Service: You must not engage in any activity that disrupts, interferes with, or creates an undue burden on the Service or other users of the Service. This includes attempts to overload the system or bypass any security measures.
- Exploiting Vulnerabilities: You may not attempt to access, reverse engineer, or exploit any vulnerabilities in the Service, its underlying code, or its infrastructure without authorization.
4. Content Restrictions
In addition to the prohibited uses listed above, the following content is specifically prohibited from being shared through the Service:
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted works, trademarks, or patents.
- Hate Speech and Discrimination: Content that promotes or encourages discrimination, hate, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected status.

5. User Responsibilities
As a user of the Service, you agree to the following responsibilities:
- Content Ownership: You are solely responsible for the content you upload, share, or distribute through the Service. You must ensure that you have the legal right to share any content you post.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.
- Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Consequences of Violating the Policy
If you violate this Acceptable Use Policy, we reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including, but not limited to:
- Suspending or terminating your account.
- Removing or disabling access to any content that violates this Policy.

7. Enforcement
Lync reserves the right to monitor and review user activity to ensure compliance with this Policy. We may take action if we determine, in our sole discretion, that a user is engaging in behavior that violates the terms of this Policy.
8. Modifications to the Acceptable Use Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service offerings. When we make such changes, we will post the updated Policy on our website, and the "Updated" date at the top of the page will be revised.
By continuing to use the Service after any updates to this Policy, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
