Welcome to Lync, a URL shortening service provided by Billbuk Group. These Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") outline the rules and guidelines for your use of the Lync app (the "App"), including access and use of any related services, features, and tools offered by the App.
By accessing or using the Lync app (the "Service"), provided by Billbuk Group, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any additional policies referenced herein.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease using the App.
Lync reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon posting on our website or within the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes made.

The Service is available for both free and premium users. Premium features may include additional functionality such as advanced analytics, custom branding, and priority support.
Creating an Account: To access certain features, such as link tracking and analytics, you must create an account with Lync by providing accurate information, including a valid email address and, if applicable, a payment method for premium services.
Account Security: You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password). If your account credentials are compromised, you must notify us immediately, and we will assist in securing your account.
Unauthorized Use: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of security related to your account.
While using Lync, you agree not to engage in the following activities:
URL Sharing: You agree that any URL shared through Lync may be tracked for performance analytics. This includes monitoring the number of clicks, locations of users, devices used, and referral sources.
Link Expiration: Links created through the App may have expiration dates or may be deleted or deactivated by Lync if deemed inactive, expired, or violating these Terms.
Analytics Data: Lync collects data related to your shortened URLs, including but not limited to click rates, user location, and device data. This data is provided to you in a secure, anonymized format for analytical purposes.
Data Collection: We collect data when you create an account, use the Service, or interact with shortened URLs. This may include personal information, analytics data, IP addresses, and user behavior. For more information, refer to our Privacy Policy.
Data Use: Data is used to improve the Service, monitor usage patterns, and deliver personalized experiences. Lync may share anonymized data with third parties for analytical purposes but will not share personal data without user consent, except as required by law.
GDPR Compliance: If you are located within the European Union or European Economic Area, Lync complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of their data at any time.
Ownership of Service: The content and technology used by Lync, including its software, designs, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Billbuk Group and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without explicit written permission.
User Content: You retain ownership of the URLs you shorten and any content you submit to Lync. However, by using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display these URLs for the purpose of providing the Service.
No Warranty: The App is provided "as is" without any warranties, either express or implied. Lync does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
Limitation: In no event shall Billbuk Group be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or the inability to use the Service, including loss of data or business profits.
9.1 Fees: Lync provides premium, fee-based services that include enhanced features and capabilities. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable charges based on the level of Lync Services you select. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise specifically permitted in this Agreement.
9.2 Subscription Plans: Paid account plans will be billed at the rate shown at the time of your first purchase, and this charge will repeat according to your subscription term until you choose to cancel. Subscription fees may change, and Lync will inform you of any pricing updates before your next scheduled payment. You can cancel your paid subscription at any time; however, unless legally required, no refunds or credits will be given for early cancellation or unused services. Lync also reserves the right to change, update, modify, or stop offering subscription benefits at any time, at its sole discretion.
9.3 Payment: You agree to make payments to Lync based on the billing cycle you select. Unless otherwise stated, payments are due immediately. You authorize Lync to automatically charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees on a recurring basis through Lync’s online payment system. By saving a payment method (“PAYMENT METHOD”) in your account, you expressly authorize Lync (or its third-party payment processor) to charge you on a recurring schedule aligned with your subscription term, unless you cancel your subscription. You are responsible for all fees incurred through your PAYMENT METHOD. You must provide complete and accurate billing and contact information to Lync. Lync may update available PAYMENT METHODs from time to time, and it is your responsibility to keep your payment details current. If fees become overdue, Lync may suspend, downgrade, or terminate your access to the Services. Unpaid amounts may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower. Lync also reserves the right to recover collection costs, including reasonable legal fees. Failure to pay subscription or renewal fees on time may result in service suspension or termination. For the avoidance of doubt, Lync may continue to charge you periodically based on your subscription term without needing further approval from you, until you cancel your subscription or notify Lync that you wish to change your PAYMENT METHOD information.
9.4 Taxes: Fees are exclusive of taxes, duties, levies, tariffs, and other governmental charges (collectively, “TAXES”), and you are responsible for all TAXES resulting from this Agreement or your use of the Lync Services. Applicable TAXES may include an 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per Indian tax laws. If applicable, this GST will be added to the fees in addition to any other charges.
Lync will invoice you for TAXES when required to do so by applicable law, and you agree to provide payment under the terms of the invoice. In the event you are required by law to deduct and withhold any TAXES on amounts payable under this Agreement, any amounts required to be withheld will be promptly deducted and timely remitted by you on behalf of Lync to the appropriate taxation authority and you agree that you will provide Lync with copies of all necessary documents (including but not limited to tax receipts received from the applicable tax authority) in order for Lync to claim and receive a tax credit in an amount corresponding to the amount withheld by you.
Termination by Lync: Lync reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach any of these Terms and Conditions or engage in activities that harm the App or other users. We may also terminate your account if it becomes inactive or is used in a manner that violates the terms.
Termination by You: You may terminate your use of the Service by deleting your account at any time. Please note that termination does not entitle you to a refund for any fees already paid.
Personal User: An individual who uses the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Premium Services: Additional features of the Service, including but not limited to custom branding and advanced analytics, available to users who subscribe to a paid plan.
